Future Fuels for Royal Air Force
The Royal Air Force have recognised the impact of their operations and have committed to reaching net-zero by 2040. To reach this goal they are investing in new technologies and recycling waste to minimise their environmental impact. Notably, the RAF are working on creating sustainable fuel and are aiming to launch a zero emissions aircraft by the end of the decade. While aviation is a significant contributor to the climate crisis, the RAF's investment in their net-zero policy offer an optimism that through reduction of carbon emissions we can still reverse the effects of climate change and bring an end to the climate crisis.
